THEMATIC SERIES - SCREENINGS
SCREENING
The curators of Argos examined the entire archive of more than 2500 titles. Making a transversal movement, they discovered dozens of substantive lines and formal directions which connect artists and works with each other. Twelve Thematic Series focus on developments and events which occur on a much larger social scale than in the arena of visual arts and media. However, this does not mean that these series also zoom in on formal overlaps, similarities and trends. On the following links you will find explanations for each of the twelve programmes separately.
This event is part of OPEN ARCHIVE #2 - REFLECTIONS ON CONTEMPORARY ART, MEDIA CULTURE AND ARCHIVING
