THE GAZE IS US: ON SPECTATORSHIP

A mix of lectures and artist talks, film screenings, and book presentations. This mixture will ease the mediation of the topic “Spectatorship” to a broad range of culturally interested people. Active participation of the audience is being challenged in the artist talks, lectures, and in the possibility to “inhabit” the space of encounters. There, the artists who perform throughout the festival, the speakers and the interested visitors can meet.
In this frame, Argos contributes with a thematic screening with works by Ursula Biemann, Roy Villevoye & Jan Dietvorst, Florian Gwinner, Shelly Silver and Steve Reinke.
