FIVE ACTS ON SCREEN

In spite of the title, only four acts were recorded on this video for the compilation ’Retrospective of the Belgian video art (1970-1977)’. In ’Act One’ a man is drawing black lines in the shape of a star, on a piece of glass that’s in front of the camera lens. Secondly a man is sticking white tape horizontally and vertically on a glass in the same position. Then he starts drawing lines again, but much more than before and in a horizontal and vertical way. The same man smashes the glass above the camera lens in the fifth act.
