The artist made this film with a grant he received from the ’Fondation de la Tapisserie’ in Tournai. The film documents a performance in which the artist is walking around in Tournai, while he is holding a series of empty frames. With the empty frames he is suggesting that the actual artistic content and input of his performances should be looked for in the city itself. However, at the same time the frames are suggesting the particular way in which the artist is relating to the reality where he finds himself, as well as the specific media he is using.
