ORNAMENTE DES WILLENS

Using the same images as in ‘Mediastudien (nach Heinrich Hoffmann)’, Koen Theys continues here in transforming Hitler’s body as a decorative ornament. The title is a combination of ‘Das Massornament’ by Siegfried Kracauer and ‘Triumph des Willens’ by Leni Riefenstahl. The piano was improvised in realtime with the projection of the video.
