WHITE BALL

Impulsive video sequences, not without a sense of humour, at times evoking an actual spatial escapism or on other occasions recording coincidental or purposeful emotional turning points. ‘White Ball’ shows a passage of one state of mind to another through direct amazement. No time to think or to lament. In his work Claude Cattelain tries to grasp the essence in the volatile. His short and personal flashes of astonishment and fragility offer a striking image of a passage from one place to another, or a shift in frames of mind.
