EEN VAGE BELOFTE VAN VERLANGEN

‘Een vage belofte van verlangen’ (‘A Vague Promise of Desire’) is an exercise in creating a claustrophobic atmosphere through a multitude of disturbing images: a girl in a tunnel at night, a woman in the water (is she drowning?) and girls in underwear, hanging about the room (or is it a catwalk?).A haunting soundtrack with backward-played voices makes this short early work even more unearthly.
