THE RESIDENTS

Barry meets Lucy. They’re both artists living in Europe. He’s an American, she wants to be one. He has no visa, she wants dual nationality. There are no amorous feelings between them, just a preoccupation with hospitality, citizenship and art. Adam Leech and Vincent Meessen have written a story that’s a cynical tale, political tract and conceptual artwork – a factual fiction largely inspired by their shared experiences.
