MARION GUILLARD

Marion Guillard grew up in Paris, but studied at the agricultural school in Burgundy. The productivist approach to the living world was so violent that she moved closer to images and took a University Diploma in “wildlife cinema”. After the master’s degree in “Speculative Narration” she began to work in the visual arts and started thinking theoretically about her career, particularly in the world of wildlife cinema. All her work focuses on the role that representations of “nature” have in our contemporary societies. Her artistic work revolves around “moving image” and experimental cinema. Marion lives and works in Brussels.
