RAÚL DOMINGUES

He is an experimental filmmaker whose work explores the relationship between humans and nature. Rooted in a documentary approach, his practice involves collecting sound and image material in the field and shaping it into intimate, meditative cinematic experiences. His feature film Terra que Marca premiered in the Forum section of Berlinale and received multiple awards before being screened in cinemas in Portugal. He also works as a film editor and camera operator. He holds a degree in Sound and Image from the School of Arts and Design (ESAD.CR) at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria.
