"Ann Veronica Janssens was born in England and she’s living in Brussels. Perception, experience, space, emptiness, time, (im-)materiality and infinity are the key notions of her minimally inspired work – sculptures, videos and installations. She often makes use of light, how it moves, is refracted or stopped. Her work has been shown, among others, during the Venice Biennial, MuHKA (Antwerp), the Neue National Galerie (Berlin), SMAK (Gent) and the Centre for Contemporary Art in Warsaw, Poland."
