Canadian video artists Emily Vey Duke and Cooper Battersby have created multi-part works that mix low-tech animation, hilarious performances and intelligent monologues. Working within an anecdotal video tradition, humour and analysis share space in the four videos the duo made so far. Their rumination on ego, happiness and holding on is characterized by an overriding display of cynicism, lifestyle cool and world-weary apathy.
