IRA A. GORYAINOVA
Ira A. Goryainova graduated in 2016 as a documentary director from the Brussels' Royal Institute for Theater, Cinema & Sound and received greatest honor for her thesis work, Die Ruinen von Europa.
Goryainova plays with the expectations of viewers as she often crosses the borders between fiction and nonfiction. Her personal visual and narrative style is dark and often influenced by underground art movements and film. Philosophic ideological outcasts in confrontation with the world form the themes of her works, be it film, video art or paintings.
