He records his feelings right in front of our eyes and molds the image of Robert Cash the artist, both colorful and darkly humorous at the same time, both openly romantic and intensely fragile. A lot of Cash’s work is an adaptation or interpretation of existing icons. Making use of well-known images like porn films and performances by magicians, his films gain a familiar aspect.
