RECORD: I LOVE YOU

A dislocating experiment realised at Amsterdam’s cultural centre Brakke Grond for the exhibition ’Smooth Space’. The video shows a dancing couple indirectly through round mirrors mounted on different heights onto the ceiling. The camera, held by the male dancer, is pointed upwards to film himself and his partner. Fragmentation, depersonalisation and the condensation and extension of the space go hand in hand.
