"In this site-specific installation, the architecture of the classroom becomes a witness to its own destruction. The work centers on a cycle of violence and erasure: the artist records the act of shattering three large windows with paving stones, only to meticulously restore them to their original state. During the exhibition, this recorded trauma is projected onto motorized screens that descend over the repaired glass. As the screens cycle up and down, the room oscillates between a sterile, restored present and a loud, digital re-enactment of its own breaking. The amplified sound of shattering glass fills the void, challenging the viewer to reconcile the pristine physical environment with the violent memory that refuses to be erased."
