LETTRES DE PAPI

A cinematic letter, based on my grandfather’s correspondence with grandmother as the war started. The notion of remembering my grandfather is being constructed and made tangible. Minimal nature images, changes in light and rhythm, images of an old war front. My grandmother reads out the letters, she is present through her off-voice. A separation of image and sound.
