APPENDIX I: LANDS

appendix i: lands is 20 minutes video work that is meant to be adjoined to the single channel work untitled part 2 in the frame of an exhibition presentation. In this way, they form a double projection, on the left side untitled part 2 and on the right side appendix i: lands, in loop. untitled part 2 is compiled from material taped while the artist was leaving home, arriving at, and moving through the former Yugoslavia shortly after the NATO bombing, but it mainly includes conversations with a wide range of known and common people. In appendix i: lands, moving landscapes and cityscapes are used to materialize the verbal and localize the discourse through levels of physicality, materiality and immateriality.
