LETTRE VERTE À HERVÉ BROUHON
The movie is part of an installation set up in 1989 in the Centre for Fine Arts for the exhibition ’Incident de Parcours’, organised by the Fondation de la Tapisserie in Tournai. The installation was projected onto a canvas painted green, and a letter by Hervé Brouhon was also displayed as well, his response to Vergara’s request to put a cow in Brussels Park and paint it. This was impossible, Hervé wrote, because dogs are also running around in the park. Hervé Brouhon was Brussels’ first socialist mayor. He governed the city between 1983 and 1993.
