ERFGOEDDAG 2015: (UN)FAMILIAR HERITAGES

For 'Erfgoeddag/ Heritage Day 2015' Argos selected three creative documentaries from its voluminous collection. The three are linked to the theme of this edition, 'Erf!' (Inherit!), through their focus on different personal and collective histories: a mental legacy that has been handed down from generation to generation for ages. Medium-length works by Vincent Meessen (who represents Belgium this year at the Venice Biennale), Charley Case & Manuela de Tervarent, as well as by Didier Volckaert & An van. Dienderen, are screened as a loop.
