FLORENCE AIGNER

Florence Aigner is an audio-visual artist based in Brussels. With an academic background in Refugee Studies, her artistic practice focuses on issues related to memory, belonging and the material culture of people in exile (’Homes Sweet Home’, ’Retour de Babel’, ’Coin de vies’,...)Through participatory processes, she is creating situations from which narratives and images can emerge (workshops with Bruxelles nous appartient/Brussel behoert ons toe, MUS-E Belgium,...). She is also involved in filmmaking (’Surya’, ’disorient’).
