JAN KOPP

Jan Kopp’s (Frankfurt, 1970) artistic practice is characterised by its diversity, ranging from sculpture to video, photography to drawing, performance without hesitating to mix medias, sources, registers and techniques. Regularly his projects are the collective result of a sensitively constructed input with local inhabitants, students or artists. Recently he has had personal exhibitions at the Kunstraum Dombirn, Austria, Galerie Michel Journiac, Paris, Martos Gallery in New York, the Frac Alsace in Selestat and group shows at the Moscow Modern Art Museum, the Credac in Ivry-sur-Seine, Suspended Spaces at the Maison de la culture in Amiens, the Accademia d’Ungheria Palazzo Falconieri in Rome or the Museum of Modern Art in Saint-Etienne.
