WALK ON THE WATER

Walk on the water is an early work by the american artist Shelly Silver. The video develops a sort of narrative short story about a relationship. The narrativity is made possible thanks to three different layers: first, the soundtrack is a choral song; then, the images shows a secretary at work and follows her around NYC, alone or with her friends; finally, the running text seems to be a diary writing of the inner experience. Intimate, urban, multilayered, rhythmical, Walk on the water already shows Silver's further developed style.
