PROVISORY OBJECT 01

Between 1997 and 2004 Edith Dekyndt created a triptych of three short videos in which a soap bubble is stretched between two hands. This is the first part of the triptych, featuring the artists own hands. The shape of the iridescent soap bubble changes and reflects the light in various ways. Using simple techniques, Dekyndt appeals to a poetic dimension.
