‘Publicité K Dick’ is a commercial for Dr. Smile’s substrate, that promises to give you “the ever welcome psychic youth”. The title refers to the American science-fiction author Philip K Dick, who was known for his periods of paranoia, madness and psychosis. In this short video Daniel Mangeon (Hänzel & Gretzel) reveals a certain political engagement, by placing question marks behind the growing consumer culture and the power of the media.
