UFO'S BOVEN GEEL

This documentary revolves around Alfons De Joncker and his plans to build flying saucers. Former pupils of the Technical School in Geel, Belgium, talk about this project. First De Joncker built a tele-conducted car. By 1962 he worked together with the students at some non-navigable flying saucers that flew above the Kempen until they ran out of fuel. After meeting the late musician, singer, actor and theme park founder Bobbejaan Schoepen, who would become his sponsor, De Joncker started working on a saucer that would be navigated by one pilot. But the project took up too much time and money, and many people believed the device would never fly. Schoepen stopped his financial support. De Joncker left the country and disappeared. A few years later, on the Finnish news, images were shown of a crashed flying saucer. The body of the pilot was never found, but till today people believe the pilot was De Joncker. The credit titles stated that some elements of ‘UFO’s boven Geel’ are science fiction. This revelation shines a doubt on the whole story of this video.
