ACIDITÉS

In this short film of a dance performance, Charley Case plays with showing and hiding, presentation and representation. In an industrial space the performers Violetta Todo and Roberto Olivan dance like in trance to the tunes of atmospheric electronic music. While Olivan dances, he projects onto his body a film with a projector that is fitted into a body harness he is wearing. Case frequently uses a blue filter in front of his lens, causing the work to become even more strange. What is being danced, is reflected in the projection onto the body and vice versa.
