INSOMNIAC DREAM

A camera is trying to focus on an empty wall in the exhibition space. The fact that it is pointed at a dark surface prevents the auto-focus mechanism from finding a sharp focus. The film obtained is projected onto the same area, creating a mirror effect which disturbs our perception of it. Alternating from blurred to focused, the optical phenomenon contaminates reality and creates a sensation of vertigo.
