NOTHING !

A video-installation that was produced at the occasion of Brugge 2002 cultural capital of Europe. We see a suite of short sequences shot in the touristic centre of Bruges. In each sequence a man passes with a megaphone in which he shouts a word, a sound or just moans of blows in the speaker, while aiming the horn of megaphone towards a tree, a boat, a building, a statue… In some sequences, the man crosses the image, but as often he just holds briefly the megaphone in front of the camera. The video is presented on a flat screen, mounted on the wall like a painting.
