CAILLOUX

In his work Claude Cattelain tries to catch the essence of the volatile. His video miniatures are flashes of amazement and fragility, staged at times, or noticed in passing. Impulsive, not without a sense of humour, Cattelain records an actual spatial escapism or emotional turning points. In an animation sequence in ’Cailloux’ a pile of stones tries to arrange itself in such a way that it reaches the top of the screen.
